Coasteering

Coasteering allows you to experience body-surfing waves, scrambling up cliffs and flinging yourself into deep water from heights of up to 20ft! A wetsuit ensures that you stay warm at any time of the year, other equipment includes a helmet and a buoyancy aid. If you are a beginner, you can start off on easy climbs and jumps and build up to the bigger ones once you gain confidence.
Insert Ardclinis logo Ardclinis can put the adrenalin and fun into your holiday, catering for adults and children from 8 years old. You don’t need any experience or equipment, just bring your sense of fun and adventure and the Ardclinis team will do the rest.
We provide 2 and a half to 3 hours of spectacular and thrilling coasteering in two areas. Once kitted out in wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets and other safety equipment, we will explore the rugged unspoilt Dunseverick coast beneath the ruins of the castle, ancient stronghold of the Mc DonnelI clan. You will play in the swirlies, jump from rocks into the sea, explore tidal flows, secret pools and cliffs, few ever have the chance to discover the amazing Causeway coast world heritage site. The Ardclinis team will be available to take you to two different spots, depending on the weather and the level of challenge to be enjoyed.
Why not round it off with a delicious picnic full of local produce, while taking in views of Rathlin Island, the Scottish hills (12 miles), Donegal’s rugged headlands in the distance, and of course Dunseverick itself, resting place of the gold hoards of the doomed Spanish Armada. Who knows what you might find in these crystal clear waters!!
The cost includes tuition with fully qualified instructors, all specialist equipment and insurance.
