This free public gallery prides itself on providing
a friendly and open creative space, with
regularly changing exhibitions showcasing
local and international contemporary art. A
range of art books about the region and free
guided gallery tours are also available. The
Golden Thread Gallery is a member of the
Plus Tate Programme. Look for the red brick
building across from the Ramada Encore (and
beside Beggs and Partners showroom) on the fringes of Cathedral Quarter.
