have been interred in Glasnevin. A
hauntingly gorgeous Victorian Garden
cemetery, each guide is passionate about
sharing their love of heritage and history,
telling the stories of Ireland’s complex and
fascinating history through daily walking
tours. Perfect for those interested in
exploring the legacies of Ireland’s heroes.
Choose from the Historic tour visiting the
graves of note or the Dead Interesting tour, which looks at the quirky stories of the
lesser known personalities giving an alternative view of the varied heritage at Glasnevin
and the history within its walls – sculpture, symbolism, architecture, natural life
and much more. Café, Gift Shop and Genealogical research facility. To get there take
40 or 140 Dublin bus from O’Connell St. or the Hop on Hop off bus.
Open: Daily. Winter: 10am-5pm, Summer: 10am-6pm. Museum & General History Tour,
11.30am &2.30pm; Dead Interesting Tour, March-Sept 1pm. Re-enactment
