Savour the delights of this award-winning covered Victorian market, built in the 1890’s on the site of the city’s 17th Century meat market. Friday’s Va­riety Market (6am – 3pm) sells fruit, vegetables, books, clothes, fish and antiques. Saturday’s City Food and Craft Market (9am – 3pm) delights with local and international cuisine and unique arts and crafts. And the Sunday Market (10am – 4pm) combines the two and attracts the usual large numbers of locals and visitors. With live music every weekend, St George’s Market is a truly unmissable city shopping and eating experience
