Howth

Welcome to Howth
Escape to the beautiful Howth Peninsula and experience the best
Ireland has to offer just 20 minutes from Dublin City Centre. Renown
as Ireland’s culinary capital for seafood and fine dining, make sure
you make the trip, if only to eat some of the best fish and chips
you will ever eat. Howth has many award-wining restaurants and
offers great craic and music in some fantastic pubs.
Explore Howth Village’s pretty harbour with its fishing boats, marina
and plaques to historic events. Visit the Museum of Vintage Radio,
Ireland’s oldest inhabited Castle and the monolithic tomb known
as Aideen’s Grave.
For the more adventurous, there are stunning cliff and mountain
walks with views from Dublin Bay to the Mourne Mountains. Boat
trips, scuba diving and sailing are readily available and are a great
way to view the stunning coastline.
It is easy to reach by car or DART from the city-centre to Howth DART Station, or take the
31/a bus from Talbot Street.
