Housed in a stunning 18th Century Georgian
building, the James Joyce Centre is dedicated
to the life and works of iconic writer James
Joyce. Set over three floors, the Centre
covers Joyce’s life and works, giving insight
into Dublin in the early 1900’s and featuring
a permanent interactive exhibition as well as
temporary exhibitions.
The Centre offers free multi-lingual audio tours
of the building, walking tours of Joyce’s Dublin,
reading groups, regular lectures, events and educational courses. The James Joyce
Centre also co-ordinates the Bloomsday Festival which takes place 11 – 16 June.
Open: April to Sept Mon – Sat 10am – 5pm, Oct to Mar Tue – Sat 10am – 5pm,
Sun (year round) 12pm – 5pm. Adults €5, Concessions €4.
