With over thirty years of distilling
experience, Master Distiller Noel
Sweeney oversees all aspects of
liquid production and release
by the distillery. A globally
recognised expert who has already been credited for the release of many international
award-winning whiskeys, Noel was inducted into Whisky Magazine’s celebrated
‘Hall of Fame’ in 2017.
This is a fully immersive visitor experience. Everything from grain intake,
milling, mashing, fermenting, distilling, cask fi lling and maturation takes place at
Powerscourt Distillery. The visitor centre is home to an intimate AV theatre, six
carefully appointed tasting rooms, a gift shop and café bar with seating areas.
